Cool Tech Challenge
The Cleveland+ region offers tremendous opportunities for IT careers in a number of disciplines, such as website design and development, software development or networking and systems administration.
To spark an interest in HS students in tech disciplines, NEOSA created the CoolTech Challenge for a 2008 launch. A web contest for area schools, CoolTech Challenge winners and finalists shared in thousands of dollars in scholarship money, cool gadgets, and an awesome NEOSA t-shirt!
The contest period ran from February 25, 2008 to April 14, 2008. We received a total of twenty-six registered teams from six different schools in the region. Ultimately, twenty-one teams submitted sites for our judges to review.
